Lots of Fun....Close to Home Eaton Mountain Ski Area is located on Lambert Road (not Eaton Mountain Road), just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan. !!! If you use a GPS: set it for "Eaton Mountain Ski Area". With some systems, using only "Eaton Mountain" will take you on a private jeep trail to the summit of Eaton Mountain. Also: contrary to several systems, Lambert Road is not open to vehicle traffic between Oak Pond Road and the ski area. !!! From Skowhegan: Take Route 2 east, continue past the blinking light (Eaton Mountain Road). Lambert Road is the next right. From Waterville: Take Route 201 north to Hinckley, right on to Route 23 north to Canaan. Left on to Route 2 west. Go past Lake Geo..see more..
