TUESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2013 AT 6:11AM Ok so, this is for my MX faithful. You need to ride this. This weekends event is kind of like a really long moto that runs several sections of the MX track and lots of single track woods. The off road guys will tell you its not too tight in the woods, but you will still have a hard time not looking directly at the trees. It's going to be tough, challenging, and most of all a boat load of fun. You will probably be able to pass a few off roaders on the mx sections, but they will pass you back in a woods section so fast you will literally not believe it. It will also make you a much better rider. This is really a one of a kind event and one of my favorites. This year I am both proud and sad that this race bears a good friends name. Greg Moss has been a part of the District 17 landscape for as long a I can remember. Greg along with Ryan Moss talked my Dad and I into letting his club ride the pristine woods of Motosports Park years ago. That race has become a great team effort between Forest City Riders, WFO Promotions, and Motosports Park. This is your once a year opportunity to ride the nuclear woods. Don't blow it! Event details below: This event is a partnership with Motosports Park, Forest City Riders and WFO Promotions. We will be following the WFO Promotions event schedule: REGISTRATION - 8:00AM 65, 85, & Women 9:00AM / 45 MIN 50cc 10:00 1/2 hour 65 Beginner 10:45 1/2 hour C's & +50 & +40A's - 10:00AM/ 1HOUR 30 MIN AA's, A's & B's & +40B's -11:45AM 1HOUR 45 MIN Note to District 16 Riders: The 50cc track is open for practice after 8:00am and once you sign up. Save time at Sign Up and fill out this the sign up form, print it out and bring it with to the event Sign Up Form Camping is allowed. Motosports Park has a great campground area with Electric and water but you must make a reservation. Camping Reservations For hotels the closest area is the Rockford area. The course will use the majority of the MX track then use the woods surrounding the track. The loop is normally around 5 miles long and has a mix of single track, two track, grass track, and small Enduro-cross (with a long way around). In honor of Greg Moss the Moss Family is putting up $50 for a holeshot award for the AA class and the 50+ class this year.
