Whenever motorsport is discussed in Bulgaria or across the world, the first thing that comes to mind is Formula One with its sleek circuit-racing cars, or else, the World Rally Championships. These two events with their glamour, fat prize funds and sports celebrities enjoy great popularity with audiences. Unfortunately, for mostly economic reasons, Bulgaria has so far failed to fit into the context of the two major events in motorsport. Until this happens, let us visit some places in the country where the hope of the brisk development of motorsport is still alive.
